The Dates And Times For Fortnite’s Other Four Travis Scott Concerts You Should Not Miss
Last night Fortnite debuted its first Travis Scott Astronomical show, and one lesson they’ve learned from past events is that with people busy doing other things or in different regions of the world, it’s probably good to have more shows that people can catch at a later date, so there’s not literally just one shot to see something in-game you’ll never get to experience again.
The Travis Scott concert, if you can call it that, last night was one of the most surreal things I’ve ever seen in a video game. While only ten minutes or a so, the fraction of a normal concert length, the show utilized the map and Fortnite’s Unreal engine in ways we’ve never seen before. I don’t want to spoil too much if you’ve come to this post because you were not able to see the show yet, and here’s when you can do that.
There are four shows left. One that starts within the hour for one region, and the others are in the coming days with a final Americas show on Sunday.
- Friday 4/24 - EU & ME - 10AM EDT
- Saturday 4/25 - Asia & Oceania - 12AM EDT
- Saturday 4/25 - EU & ME - 11AM EDT
- Saturday 4/25 - The Americas - 6PM EDT
And yes, you can attend these shows even if you’re not in the region listed. For instance, you can head to the EU pre-show right now even if you’re in NA.
To attend, log into a game 30 minutes before showtime and then hang around the stage area. I would suggest being on the stage the moment the concert begins because…you’ll see.
Again, I said it in my coverage yesterday, but I cannot recommend that you watch this show live in-game at least once. I don’t care if you don’t like Fortnite or Travis Scott’s music, this is something to witness all the same, and it’s impossible not to be impressed with what Epic has done here, and this really does feel like a glimpse into the future of what virtual worlds could be. Obviously the situation is even more unique given that COVID-19 has cancelled pretty much all global concerts for the next year or more, and this is the only “show” people can really attend.
And attend they did. Epic said that 12 million players were concurrently watching the Travis Scott show, a record, and by the end of the weekend with four more shows still to come, that is probably going to shoot up even higher as more and more players tune in, or watch again. I know I’m definitely going to catch the show at least one more time, as it really was a unique experience and I want to take more screenshots, frankly.
So yeah, don’t miss this in your region. Trust me, it’s worth it.
