Song Yoo-jung, South Korean actress from 'Make a Wish' and 'Golden Rainbow,' dies at 26
Song Yoo-jung, a South Korean actress, has died, her agency announced on social media. She was 26.
Sublime Artist Agency, which represented Song, confirmed the news on Instagram Monday. According to the agency's statement, written in Korean, the late actress had a bright smile and a passion for performing. No cause of death was given.

According to Sublime Artist Agency's website, Song appeared in the Korean show "Make a Wish" from 2014 to 2015. The website also notes that Song acted in the 2013 show "Golden Rainbow," the 2017 show "School 2017" and the 2019 web drama "Dear My Name."
The website adds that Song also appeared in multiple music videos, as well as in advertisements for companies including Baskin-Robbins, The Body Shop and Estée Lauder.
Song's cause of death has not yet been announced, but it comes in the wake of multiple suicides from young entertainers in South Korea.

In 2017, Kim Jong-hyun, the lead singer of the popular South Korean boy band SHINee, died by suicide at age 27. In 2019, Sulli, another K-pop star and actress, died at the age of 25, reportedly due to suicide. Weeks later, Sulli's friend and fellow K-pop singer Goo Hara was found dead at 28, with the New York Times later reporting it was a suicide.
