1 injured in shooting in Seattles University District
Seattle police are investigating a Thursday night shooting near the intersection of Northeast 45th Street and Roosevelt Way Northeast.

Seattle police are investigating a Thursday night shooting near the intersection of Northeast 45th Street and Roosevelt Way Northeast.

The department originally said on Twitter Thursday night that the shooting took place near the intersection of University Way Northeast and Northeast Campus Parkway.

Judinna Gulpan, a public information officer at the Seattle Police Department, said Friday morning that the shooting actually took place near the other intersection.

Police transported a 32-year-old victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to Harborview Medical Center, according to Gulpan.

The suspect has not been located, police said around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

No further details were immediately available.
