The department originally said on Twitter Thursday night that the shooting took place near the intersection of University Way Northeast and Northeast Campus Parkway.
Judinna Gulpan, a public information officer at the Seattle Police Department, said Friday morning that the shooting actually took place near the other intersection.
Police transported a 32-year-old victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to Harborview Medical Center, according to Gulpan.
The suspect has not been located, police said around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
No further details were immediately available.
