Uefa Super Cup Mbappe scores for Real Madrid in debut
French footballer Kylian Mbappe helped Real Madrid to a Uefa Super Cup win in a goal-scoring first performance.

It was football superstar Kylian Mbappe's debut for Real Madrid last night, and he made it one to remember by scoring a goal to win his side the Uefa Super Cup trophy.

After a goalless first half, Mbappe followed up a goal from his teammate Federico Valverde to finish with a 2-0 victory against Italian team Atalanta.

One of the fastest footballers in the world, Mbappe said his "dream has come true" when he joined Real Madrid in July.

He left Paris St-Germain, where he was the team's record goalscorer with 255 strikes for the French Ligue 1 side.
