Playboi Carti's Makes Chaotic Appearance On Adin Ross' Kick Stream
Adin Ross has found himself in yet another controversy involving a rapper. He claims he paid Playboi Carti a large sum of money to appear on his Kick stream, and while the Atlanta rapper did show up, he did not stay long at all.
A Travis Scott fan account revealed that the Whole Lotta Red artist was going to appear on Ross’ show after the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 4) for $50,000. Ross corrected them, writing, “$50k? 2 million, cash & a [Ferrari].” He then promoted Carti’s upcoming album and the forthcoming stream.
The “2024” artist finally appeared two hours later than expected, with over 500,000 people waiting for him. Ross and Carti, the latter wearing a mask, spoke for some time and Carti told the fans he loved them. Ross eventually gave him his payment, which was seemingly all the Opium artist cared about, because he left minutes after receiving his duffle bag full of money. Watch Carti’s short appearance below.
Adin Ross received a phone call from 21 Savage after Playboi Carti left and revealed that he did not pay Carti the full $2 million. The American Dream rapper seemed bothered by the fact that Carti was paid at all, as his controversial appearance earlier that week did not come with any compensation.
In fact, the “Redrum” artist was accused of scamming Adin Ross with marked cards while they played spades. Reportedly, someone on his team provided them the cards with the intention of the Savage being able to win a large sum of money. Ross told Kai Cenat that the Grammy winner did the right thing and paid him $250,000.
