The new season has begun and the Nets are 1-0. Here are the best photos from opening night.

The Brooklyn Nets opened the 2020-21 regular season with a lopsided 125-99 win over the Golden State Warriors that was never close, and superstar Kevin Durant looked fantastic in his first meaningful game with the Nets.

Durant, facing his old team, exploded in the opening minutes with 10 quick points to set the tone, and finished with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in just 25 minutes. Kyrie Irving was also limited to 25 minutes in the opener, but scored an easy 26 points.

Prior to the game, the Nets raised a banner honoring New York City essential workers, and paid tribute to a small group of frontline workers who were invited by the team to see the game. The Nets will play again on Christmas Day against the Celtics.
