Money Heist season 5 premieres on Friday, September 3, 2021. There are five new episodes of the Spanish Netflix original series on the way.

Fans have been waiting since April 2020 for the new season of the hit Netflix original series, and now, that date is finally here!

After fans binge-watch season 5, the focus immediately shifts to the next batch of episodes and the release date for those new episodes.

Will there be a Money Heist season 6?

Unfortunately, there’s no plan for Money Heist season 6 on Netflix. While plans could change in the future, Money Heist season 5 is the final season of the series.

The good news is that Money Heist season 5 isn’t over yet! Netflix is splitting the final season of Money Heist. Netflix has done this with a few shows recently, and it’s definitely interesting. I’m not sure if I like it or not, but it spices things up a little bit.

Season 5 part 1 hits Netflix in September, and season 5 part 2 is on the way later this year.

Money Heist season 5 part 2 release date

Netflix didn’t make fans wait long to find out the release date for season 5 part 2. At the same time that the part 1 release date was announced, Netflix announced part 2 release date.

Money Heist season 5 part 2 premieres on Netflix on December 3, 2021, which is exactly three months from the premiere of part 1.

We’re really glad Netflix is rolling out part 2 pretty quickly after part 1. Sometimes, fans have to wait six-plus months for the final episodes, so I’m glad that’s not happening with Money Heist. We’ll actually get to see the end of the series relatively soon.

Money Heist season 5 part 2 cast

Netflix has not announced the Money Heist season 5 part 2 cast yet. We’ll have a much better idea after we get to see the first part of season 5 to see who makes it out alive.

Overall, though, the second half of the season pretty much have the same cast as the first part, barring any major character deaths. Even if characters are killed, we could definitely see them return in flashbacks. We’ve already seen that happen a number of times in the series so far.

When will the Money Heist season 5 part 2 trailer be released?

Netflix will definitely wait a while before releasing the trailer for Money Heist season 5 part 2. The earliest we’ll see the Money Heist season 5 part 2 trailer is during TUDUM, the Netflix event scheduled for Saturday, September. 25, 2021. Money Heist is going to be involved, so we have to imagine that Netflix has something big planned for the series.
