'Hey guys, wanna feel old?' - Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin turns 40

The boy who always finds a way to get left behind is now... 40 years old.

“Hey guys, wanna feel old?” Macaulay Culkin tweeted. “I’m 40.”

The New York City-born actor who played Kevin McCallister in the original Home Alone movies added: “You’re welcome.”

Culkin has largely kept a low profile since his days as a child star.

He appeared in Home Alone in 1990 and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in 1992.

As he enters middle-age, Culkin said he’s ready to make some changes.

“Since I’m 40 I think it’s about time to start my midlife crisis,” Culkin chirped.

“I’m thinking of picking up surfing.”
