In addition to the European debut of its SUV Gravity, the luxury EV maker is launching two additional versions of the Air range. More studios accompanying the current ones in Switzerland and Germany, and a unique mobile servicing strategy must broaden the brand's footprint.

Lucid unveiled its enhanced model lineup at the Geneva International Motor Show, where it was one of the few brands participating in the event.

As a contender for the BMW iX, Mercedes-Benz EQE, and Tesla Model X, the Gravity seats seven adults and boasts over 800 hp. It delivers sports car performance coupled with a range of more than 700 km. Although its U.S. starting price is around $80,000, European pricing remains undisclosed.

Enriching the Air family Lucid launches its flagship Air sedan's Sapphire and RWD Pure derivatives. The Sapphire, designed for peak performance, features three electric motors, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a track-tuned suspension.

The brand’s latest, the RWD Pure, is Lucid's new entry model. It deploys energy efficiency (13.0 kWh/100 km) and extended range (747 km), which are attributed to Lucid's in-house-developed electric motor and battery technology.

More servicing points

Lucid Motors is set to deepen its presence in the German market by opening four new studios in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Stuttgart in 2024. The widening of the service network across Europe is important for SME fleets showing interest.

The brand plans to achieve this through the establishment of permanent service locations and the deployment of mobile service solutions, ensuring comprehensive support and convenience for vehicle owners. This approach stands out even for customer experience in the luxury electric vehicle segment.

Lucid Motors seeks to find a larger audience for its sales, as worldwide deliveries declined by 12% (Q4 2023). Over the course of last year, the nascent brand managed to find 154 customers in the selected European markets where it launched (Belgium, The Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and Germany).
