The Rabbitohs have paid a moving tribute to their former premiership winner Kyle Turner after his death aged 31 ahead of their huge match against Sydney Roosters on Friday night.
Turner, 31, died suddenly in his home town of Coonabarabran in northern NSW last month - and news of his passing rocked the code as well as a number of his former NRL teammates.
The premiership winner in 2014 made 91 first-grade appearances for Souths and was remembered by the club during their recent away game against Newcastle after they retired his No.15 jersey from action.
John Sutton - who skippered the Bunnies to that famous premiership and is currently a trainer with the side - was given the job of taking Turner's top onto the field at McDonald Jones Stadium in emotional scenes.

The team also wore black armbands in his honour.
And in their first home game since Turner's untimely passing, the players came together for a moment of reflection before kick off against the Roosters.
Latrell Mitchell and Cameron Murray were seen linking arms for the minute's silence, while Roosters stars also observed the pause for reflection.
