In the main event, Chinese challenger Zhilei Zhang (24-1-1, 19 KOs) and knockout artist Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) square off for the WBO interim heavyweight title. British-born Joyce, a silver medallist at the 2016 Olympics, is unbeaten and has won a number of provincial championships. In his most recent contest, he defeated former title challenger Joseph Parker by knockout in the eleventh round to win the WBO interim championship. Zhang, who won a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics, became professional in 2014 and eliminated Curtis Tate in the first 17 seconds of the round. He continued to prevail until a draw with Jerry Forrest in 2021. Before his one and only loss in 2022 to undefeated Olympic bronze medalist Filip Hrgovic, he went on to win two other fights.
