Hazbin Hotel was an unexpected success when its creator, Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano, uploaded its pilot episode to YouTube in 2019, leading to A24 ordering a full season for the show. Now, four years later, Amazon Prime Video is releasing the first season, much to the happiness of those who enjoyed the pilot. The adult animated musical comedy television series chronicles the adventures of the princess of Hell, Charlie Morningstar, as she runs the "Happy Hotel," aiming to rehabilitate demons and sinners so that they can be allowed into Heaven.
