Bebe Rexha reveals wounds after being hit with phone onstage
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, Bebe Rexha, was hospitalised after an audience member hurled a phone at her face during a rooftop show. She took to social media to share photos of her wounds, including a black eye and a cut on her cheek. "To the b***h that threw her phone at me... hope your mom don't let you come to my show again," she wrote on her Instagram story.
Rexha, known for hits such as "Meant to Be" and "I'm a Mess," has been praised for her honesty and vulnerability in sharing the incident with her fans. She has also used the opportunity to speak out against violence at concerts and the need for better security measures.
