Day nine of the Tokyo Olympics has come to a close for the Kiwi athletes, where Dame Valerie Adams won bronze in the women's shot put.

Saturday ended with the perfect 10 – in terms of New Zealand medals won at these Olympic Games – and the country’s 50th gold when the Black Ferns Sevens stood atop the podium.
