Both teams have had lower scoring playoff games than expected, as five of their six combined games in the 2022 NFL playoffs have seen the under hit. Cincinnati has seen its last four games go under dating back to the regular season, while two of the last three Rams games have done so, including the NFC Championship Game.

An interesting storyline of this game that could affect both teams' game plans is that Bengals coach Zac Taylor spent two years on the Rams staff working under Sean McVay.
