DURHAM, N.C. – Duke track and field announced its 2024-25 schedule Wednesday evening, with the Blue Devils set to compete at 21 meets across the indoor and outdoor campaigns. The indoor season opens with a meet prior to the holiday break, taking part in the Liberty Kick-Off Dec. 6 in Lynchburg. After unwrapping the new year at the UNC Dick Taylor Challenge (Jan. 18), Duke returns to the Old Dominion State. First, the Blue Devils will make the trek to Blacksburg for the Virginia Tech Hokie Invitational (Jan. 24-25) before heading to Virginia Beach for the Virginia Beach Invitational set for Feb. 7-8. Duke features a split squad the next two weekends, starting with the team competing at the Clemson Tiger Paw and BU Valentine Invitational Feb. 14-15. The Blue Devils cap the regular season with several members of their distance unit returning to Boston the following week for the BU Terrier DMR Challenge (Feb. 21), while the rest of the team heads to Virginia for the Virginia Tech Challenge Feb. 21-22.    Postseason competition commences with the ACC Indoor Championships, which will be held in Louisville, Kentucky at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center March 1-3. After that, qualifying athletes will head back to Virginia Beach for the two-day NCAA Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Duke's outdoor slate features 11 total meets, including two home meets – Duke Invitational (April 10-12) and Duke Twilight (May 4) – along with four additional meets in North Carolina - Vertklasse Meeting (High Point), Raleigh Relays, Wake Forest Invitational (Winston-Salem) and Charlotte Invitational. The Blue Devils will also travel to Tucson, Arizona and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the outdoor campaign for the Jim Click Shoot-Out (April 4) and Penn Relays (April 24-26), respectively. The ACC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Wake Forest, kick off postseason action, with the three-day conference meet set for May 15-17 at Kentner Stadium in Winston-Salem. The NCAA East Regionals are next up May 28-31 in Jacksonville, Florida, before the 2024-25 collegiate season comes to a close at the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon. Duke CentennialIn 2024, Duke celebrates its Centennial, marking one hundred years since Trinity College became Duke University.
