Towhid tries to find the ropes but gets a toe-end. Parag charges in from long-on but couldn’t get there. Saves crucial runs as Bangladesh gets a single of the last to end with 164 on the board. 

Mayank to bowl his final over. FOUR! Sakib hammers it through cover-point. Unable to get anything on the next two balls as Sakib swings and misses. Direct hit! A chance for run-out at the striker’s end but batter was well inside. 

Bishnoi to bowl his fourth. Pulled to long on for a single. OUT! Hossain tries to hammer it but is caught by Abhishek who moved quickly to long off.

Chakravarthy continues. Two singles followed by a SIX! Towhid makes use of the pace and lofts it over deep-midwicket for a maximum. Chakravarthy gives away only a run after that. Nine runs off the over. 

FOUR! Litton judges the ball well and gets low to sweep it through mid-wicket. Bishnoi spins it down leg and a wide is given. Goes through the fielder’s hands for a FOUR! Bishnoi going for 13 runs this over.

The previous-best by a full-member team was 278 for three, scored by Afghanistan against Ireland in 2019.

Mustafizur is back into the attack. Parag plays a late pull, mishits but it falls in no man’s land, single. Tanzim replaces Mustafizur. Short and outside leg stump, Hardik swivels his bat to get a FOUR! Hardik uses his bottom hand to his advantage to smoke a half tracker for a SIX! Another SIX! The Bangladeshi bowlers are getting battered here. Back of a length this time and Hardik swings at it and gets a FOUR! 

Mahmudullah replaces Mahedi and he gets the last laugh. Got smacked for a four and came back strong. He changes his bowling action slightly and deceived Surya into playing a big shot, only to be caught out! Hardik Pandya is the next batter in. The runs keep coming! On the slot and Parag goes big this time, it’s a SIX! 

Mustafizur replaces Taskin. Slower delivery but it doesn’t matter, Fizz tried to cramp Samson for room but he finds a way to flick it for a FOUR! FINALLY! Bangladesh gets a breakthrough via Fizz. Short delivery this time, Samson fails to read the pace and hits it straight to the fielder! Standing ovation from everyone at the venue and he deserves every bit of the praise for the kind of innings he just played! Riyan Parag is in at four. 200 up for India! India vs Bangladesh: The pair joinded forces at 23 for one after the wicket of Abhishek Sharma and put together 173 runs.

Mahedi replaces Mahmudullah. MAIDEN T20I CENTURY FOR SAMSON! AND THAT CAME OFF JUST 40 BALLS! He gets to the milestone in the first ball of the over. Samson doesn’t want to stop. He goes down on one knee and slogs it for a FOUR! 11 off the over

IND vs BAN: Sanju Samson becomes second-fastest Indian to score hundred in T20Is

Sanju Samson became the second-fastest Indian to score a hundred in T20Is during the third T20I match against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Taskin replaces Rishad. Bowls a beamer, it beats both Surya and the keeper, and runs away for a FOUR! Taskin is quick to apologise. Taskin misses the yorker, Surya gets a juicy low full toss and he carves it for a SIX! Slower delivery and it dips sharply, Surya tries a similar shot but misses, dot. Superb excecution from Taskin. He’s found success by bowling across from over the wickets. 13 came from that over 

Mahmudullah into the attack, replaces Mahedi. Surya gets to his half century with a double. The 50 came off just 23 balls. Bowlers change but it the Indians don’t seem to care. Full and on the leg stump, Surya makes room and slogs it over midwicket for a SIX! Double to finish the over as Sanju moves to 95

Rishad replaces Mustafizur. 100 partnership comes up as Sanju goes big over the bowlers head for a SIX! ANOTHER ONE! In the slot and Sanju reads it to perfection and smokes it for a SIX! THREE IN A ROW! Lofted straight and the result is the same! UNREAL STUFF! Make it four in a row! Tossed up and in the slot, Sanju says thank you and lofts it for yet another six! FIVE IN A ROW!!! and this time over midwicket! Samson is 92 off just 36 balls. Absolute carnage! 

Mahedi replaces Rishad. Samson lofts but settles for a single. Flighted delivery and SKY gets on one knee and smacks it for a FOUR towards the long on region! The current partnership is worth 96 off just 36 deliveries! Stoppage of play now as one of the light panels have stopped working. After a brief five-minute break, the match is resumed. Quicker throught he air this time, Surya tries a slog sweep but it takes an edge, single. 

Mustafizur replaces Tanzim. The change of bowlers doesn’t matter as the Indians continue to go big. Surya lofts it over covers for a FOUR to get the over going. Two singles off consecutive deliveries and Bangladesh will be happy with those. Only Samson can do this! Slightly outside off, Samson moves away and flat bats it for a SIX! Short again and Samson rocks back and lofts it for a FOUR! 50 FOR SAMSON AND HE REACHES THERE IN SOME STYLE! Wide outside off and Samson goes inside out for a SIX! The 50 came off just 22 balls! Single to finish the over 

Tanzim replaces Mustafizur. A dot and a single to start the over. Full and towards the middle, Suryakumar lofts it over mid-on for a FOUR! Back of length next up but the result is the same as Surya lofts it for a FOUR! Three in a row! 50 partnership already, off just 22 balls. The latest four came off a flick! Absolute carnage! Tanzim gives width, Surya moves toward the line of the ball and smokes it on the onside for a SIX! 19 runs off the over! This is India’s highest-ever powerplay score in T20Is!

India registered its highest PowerPlay total of 82 runs during the third T20I against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Change of ends for Taskin as he replaces Tanzim. Starts off with a do to SKY. Full and on the pads, the ball brushes the legs of Surya and runs away towards the boundary, FOUR! Another leg-bye but it’s a single this time. Slightly short and in line with the body, Sanju gives himself room and smacks it over the inner circle for a FOUR! Four of Samson’s five sixes have come from balls that were towards his pads. Now it’s Suryakumar who takes charge, closes the over off with a SIX! 

Mustafizur Rahman replaces Taskin. Starts off with a slower one, pitches it on length and angled it away from Samson, who swings and misses, no run. Mahedi bowls one to Samson’s pads first up, which is hit towards the midwicket fielder, no run. Similar delivery next and Sanju lofts this one towards wide long-on as India opens the account with a double. Abhishek off the mark in some style, Mahedi offered width and the Indian batter comes down the track to play an inside out shot for a FOUR! Slightly short and angled towards the pads, Abhishek tries to loft on the on side but misses, feeble LBW shouts but nothing from the umpire. One over up, India 7/0
